Artist's Statement:
There is an innate wisdom in the bodies of untamed animals. We humans shared this exquisite body wisdom -before we became tamed and inhibited.
It is still in us, but lies buried under generations of the fears of our own wildness…
It is possible to access this ability to balance and restore ourselves when faced with challenges that upset our natural rhythms.
My show is to honor the wildness of these animals, those who have not been tamed or domesticated; those creatures without inhibition. I hope that they speak in audible voices, to perhaps reawaken our authentic spirits within.
