Boy Howdy-

This is your opportunity to fall in love with the Western genre. Cyrus Walker has observed the Western art scene with a critical eye to better understand the underlying themes that come to the front of the mind when contemplating the West and all of its wonder. Why have these classic themes stood the test of time, and why is it when thinking of the West one is more likely to picture something out of an old Bonanza scene rather than the modern West that we live in today? Our collective thoughts of the West have cleared the ground for monumental icons that represent the West as we wish to see it. We remember things as we want to and not as they are. Cyrus has recognized these themes and has taken liberties to twist and manipulate them as he sees fit to bring to life new and interesting  scenarios. He has also on occasion incorporated other larger than life icons from different genres into the Western scenes. Like a kid with a magnifying glass and a hill full of ants, Cyrus illuminates his subjects and occasionally sets them ablaze.
