Art in the Time of Covid-19

April 3, 2020

Dear Gallery Friends,

We hope you are well and staying safe. These are indeed unprecedented times, and we are all navigating new ways of maintaining our own health, along with that of our families, friends, neighbors, colleagues and our communities. Many of us feel isolated and are anxious. Historically, art has been a means of providing joy, inspiring thought, bringing people and communities together, and offering comfort. We hope you'll experience some of these sentiments in the art we present over the coming weeks.

Though the Gallery has been closed since March 16th, we are working from home and very much hope to weather the health and economic crises. To that end, we will present a series of 'virtual' exhibitions through our online platform, Artsy. The first exhibition, FLIGHT, will open on Monday, April 6th, and will run for two weeks. We will send emails inviting you to view the exhibitions, and we hope you will keep the gallery and our artists in mind if you have the ability to continue to acquire art.

Click here find details on our virtual capabilities, along with an offer to receive our 'Daily Art' email. We've received tremendous positive feedback from those already receiving this daily spot of beauty. It's like yoga for your eyes each morning. Why not join?! You can always ask us to remove you if you decide you don't enjoy the images.

We look forward to staying in touch, continuing to offer the highest level of fine art and art services, and to reconnecting in person when our lives return to some level of normalcy.

Thank you for your continued and ongoing support.

Very Best,

Mariam Diehl and the staff of Diehl Gallery
